Welcome to Adirondack Kennel,  located in North Central New York on the tip of the famous Tug Hill Plateau. The Tug Hill area of New York is just to the East of Lake Ontario (one of the Great Lakes) and with the elevation change of 300-500 ft, receives annual snowfall amounts of OVER 30 feet! You read that right, THIRTY FEET!

     Adirondack Kennel consists of mainly the Scandinavian Hound, a dog developed in Scandinavia and Europe (also referred to as Euro-hound) which is not a 'recognized' breed per-se, rather a mix of predominantly Pointer (both German and English Shorthaired), Alaskan 'Husky' and other hound crosses and brought to the forefront of North American Sprint Racing by Egil Ellis around 1996.
